When a new father wrote and sang a song for his baby daughter, he never dreamed that it would reach thousands of people in one night.
Matt Finch, 29, from Hollywood, Birmingham, penned the charming and very catchy ballad in just 20 minutes, then recorded himself singing it with a guitar to his sleeping 11-day-old daughter Ivy.
The amateur musician posted the footage to his Facebook page on Tuesday, and to his enormous surprise, it racked up more than 5,000 views within a single day.

Mr Finch's song was inspired by dreaming, and features lyrics about wild animals and mystical journeys.
In the video, his snoozing daughter hardly stirs.
'It seems the wrong way round, to be singing it to her as she's already asleep,' remarked the training and development advisor at a college.
Speaking about how the song came about, he revealed: 'I used to be in a band when I was younger, so one of my friends half jokingly challenged me to write a song for Ivy and I thought I'd give it a go.
'I'm not that good at the soppy dad stuff so I decided to do it about her having a dream.'
He shared the video with a few friends and family, who promptly started sharing it further afield.
'I posted it quite late in the evening and got the initial likes from family and friends, and I just thought that it was because when you post a video of a baby to the internet you're going to melt hearts.'

He wrote on Facebook: 'Through an unexpected and unbelievable display of the powers of social media and the affect of people wanting to share, my little song with Ivy has racked up over 5K views today!
'It will always be Ivy's song, but you lot have given me a mega exciting day!!'
Mr Finch's wife Abigail, 31, was very supportive of the video, and her husband and daughter going viral.
'My wife loved it, she normally gets really embarrassed about things but once I showed her she said I had to post it because it was beautiful,' he explained.

'I've been blown away by the response, really overwhelmed especially with all the nice comments that I got.'
Newborn Ivy even helped her dad when he was writing the song.
'I like to think that Ivy helped,' he said. 'I was looking after her at about 11pm and she was nodding to the bits she liked and stopped to the bits that she didn't.
'It just sort of came together, it only took me about 20 minutes or so. I think I'd like to try to write more songs, it is the first children's song I've written.'
He added: 'I spent my younger years trying to write songs for my band and get them noticed so maybe I should just stick to writing children's songs.'
