Why go through the heartache of leaving your dog in kennels or with a friend when you go away - when you could go together?
Instead of man's best friend being left behind during holidays, these adorable Instagram pictures show pets and humans having the time of their lives together on spectacular camping trips.
From bounding through breathtaking mountains to cuddling up with their owners by a campfire and even canoeing - the images show the special bond that humans have with pooches.
The 'Camping With Dogs' account was started by Ryan Carter, a dog-owner and head of a social media agency in Nashville.
Since it was launched in January this year, the account has gained over 74,000 followers, with Carter receiving more than 50,000 submissions for the page.
He is now in the process of designing an app that lets owners see which parks and trails are dog friendly for future adventures.
