- Romeo Beckham had privilege of leading out England as a mascot thanks to his dad David
- The teenager led out the Three Lions as part of a 13th birthday present from his parents
- David said he used his links at the Football Association to arrange mascot role
A member of the Beckham family led out the England team for their fixture against Switzerland, however this time it was not former captain David Beckham.
Instead it was his son Romeo, who was given the privilege of walking out on to the Wembley Stadium turf alongside Wayne Rooney in his role as team mascot.
Former England and Manchester United midfielder Beckham said he used his 'connections' at the Football Association to give Romeo the chance to line up alongside Rooney as a late 13th birthday present.

Beckham, speaking to ITV, said: 'Romeo is obviously very lucky as part of his 13th birthday - because of a few connections still at the FA - is one of the mascots, so he is excited.'
The 40-year-old former England skipper believes Rooney, who exchanged words with Romeo in the tunnel before kick-off, can represent his national team for another five years.
He added of Rooney's joint goalscoring record: 'I'm sure it's up there with every trophy he has won, every time he has played for England because I know how much it means to Wayne to play for his country.
'To be up there with the likes of Sir Bobby Charlton means so much to him, he will continue for another five years. I really hope he does because he is such a good talent.
'You talk about records, you talk about scoring goals. For Wayne, it's all about winning things and if you win something with England then it would not get any better than that, so I hope he reaches that height.'
